We are halfway to the start of the season and we are
approaching the July 4th Celebrations. Use this time to rededicate back to the goals
you set as an individual along with our team goals. Some might be discouraged by the place that
you have put yourself and might not be able to make the mileage goals that you
have. That is okay you need to reassess the
goals and make new ones. The coaches
would like you to start by being consistent in your weekly miles starting with
15 and build from there. It is more
important that you come into the season physically ready (injury free and in
shape) than making a certain mileage goal, that could potentially leave you injured
at the start of the season. If you
think that you miles do not count or will not mean anything that is FALSE. Your miles no matter how small do help the
team move towards the TEAM goal of 9000.
