The Start


I would like to update you all on some minor changes to the summer miles.  The coaches have decided to change the biking miles that equal running miles. We have change the total to 3:1 instead of the 4:1 that it was.  You should not have to do anything besides log the miles as normal we will do the rest. 
I would like to see some of you getting together and start running or biking together.  It is easier to work together that alone.
In addition, the first race of the MRC racing series is this Saturday June 16 in Arlington at Four Seasons Park at the corner of 1st Ave. SE and E. Adams St., Arlington, MN.  The start time of the 4-mile race is at 8:35 AM. 

Lastly, the summer heat is upon us and I would like to remind you that you should be getting plenty of water at all times so that you can stay hydrated and complete the workouts that you set for yourself.  I would like to suggest that if the weather is to warm to run, I would suggest that you bike your miles for that day.  The other option would be to run early in the morning, which most likely would not happen. 
I would like to see some of you getting together and start running or biking together.  It is easier to work together that alone.
