Couple of things that we should be reminded of.
First fall eligibility meeting is on August 6 at 7pm, in the
south gym. The forms that are needed can
be found on the Belle Plaine Schools website under athletics. If you are a 7th or 10th grader,
YOU NEED A CURRENT PHYSICAL. You cannot
run in a meet until this is done. If you
have not I would encourage you to read the post on running shoes before you buy
this year’s shoes.
Second, all practice times and days in which we have a meet
are on the calendar be sure to check them out.
Third, be sure to catch the Olympic spirit and try to watch
some of the best track & field athletes show us what is means to put it all
on the line and run for something big.
I am posting the last updated mileage before the season
starts. I also added the averages for
each class so you can see how your class is doing. Just to point out the coaches are ROCKING
that department.
