Time Flies

Eligibility Night Monday August 3rd
Payments will be online again (LINK HERE).

Just because you pay online, it is extremely important to make the meeting.  A great deal of information is shared and gathered about our 2015 TEAM.

The mileage has been updated.  Sorry for the delay Coach Pederson was on vacation with his family.  We are getting to crunch time and the miles are starting to mount up.  McKenna was the first to cross her mileage goal for the summer.  Others are getting close their mileage goals for the summer.  If you hit your goal, you can still run but make sure that you are coming into the season in shape and healthy.  Taking time off just because you hit your miles does not help you at the start of the season.

Couple of dates to make note of:
Bun Run (Montgumory) 7/26/2015
Giant Days (LeSueur)  8/1/2015

See you in 2 weeks!

Bull Run Results

It was great to see all of you out on a beautiful Saturday morning for the bull run.  The excitement is building as we approach another Cross-country season.  We coaches are looking forward to another year of great experiences with some new things coming up this season in our schedule (check it out on the calendar) and the little harrier program with the oakcrest kids this fall.  If you haven't started training yet now is a great time to start.  Call a friend and go for a run or meet up with the kids Monday thru Friday at 8:30 am and 6:00 at the Senior High School.

Half Way There

We are halfway to the start of the season and we are approaching the July 4th Celebrations.  Use this time to rededicate back to the goals you set as an individual along with our team goals.  Some might be discouraged by the place that you have put yourself and might not be able to make the mileage goals that you have.  That is okay you need to reassess the goals and make new ones.  The coaches would like you to start by being consistent in your weekly miles starting with 15 and build from there.  It is more important that you come into the season physically ready (injury free and in shape) than making a certain mileage goal, that could potentially leave you injured at the start of the season.   If you think that you miles do not count or will not mean anything that is FALSE.  Your miles no matter how small do help the team move towards the TEAM goal of 9000.

Have a safe and happy 4th
