The JV boys defended their championship at the Gerry Smith Invitational on Thursday behind the quality running of Carter Corl (3rd), Jack Otto (4th), Andrew Hastings (7th), Noah Hastings (15th), and Nate Loegering (20th).  They JV boys outdistanced their nearest opponent by 50 points.  On their way to an unprecidented 4th place finish the varsity boys out distanced all other single A teams in the 25 team field.  Kellen Bergs (24th), once again led the tigers followed by Kyle Siemon (28th), Dylan Bigaouette (29th), Elliot Rudd (34th), and Sam Gregory (36th).  Ben Hunsader (71st) and Taylor Witt (92nd) also competed on the varsity.  The JV really started us off and the Varsity just kept it going.  In the junior high race Josh Gregory(63rd) led the others followed by Aiden Fogarty(75th), Cade Morrison(76th), Tanner Witt(77th), Conor Mulroy(86th), Jacob Olson(92nd), Max Russo(93rd), Calvin Hartman(151st), Alec Haege(158th), and Teddy Sellnow(161st).

On the day there were 24 personal records (pr's).  The entire girls varsity squad ran new pr's led by Emily Berger(27th), followed by Alissa Schultz(36th) with a big pr, McKenna Herrmann(42nd), Danika Schroeder(59th), Cassie Stolt(65th), Sophie Mewes(96th), and Jessica Brueggemeier(103rd).  The girls finished in 8th place out of 22 complete teams.  The girls JV squad placed 6th lead by Trinity Webb(16th) with a new pr, followed by Hannah Witt(27th), Hailey Witt(28th), Jamie Zahn(31st), Thea Iverson(32nd), Kailey Noll(45th), and Alexa Lenz(65th).  The JV girls had a great pack of 4 runners placing high enough to give them an excellent finish.  The junior high girls finished in 4th place led by Jordyn Williams(3rd).  She was followed by Rebeca Brueggemeier(13th), Gretta Steinhagen(21st), Brooke McGlinchey(29th), Erin West(33rd), Kate Szaroletta(36th), Fern Sullivan(37th), and Savannah Deyoung(80th).
